# Image Sources & Licensing Documentation

This document records the provenance, creator, archive, licensing status, and verification details for all photographic and brand assets used in the Missouri–Kansas District Email Portal (`mail.mokscpusa.org`).

Every photograph included in this repository has been audited and verified to match its displayed subject, location, and historical context, originating from official public archives including the **Library of Congress**, the **U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)**, and **Wikimedia Commons**.

## 🔍 Note on International Delegations (Cuba & Vietnam)

* **Research Summary**: Historical CPUSA delegations to Cuba (including the Venceremos Brigade and solidarity missions) and North Vietnam (anti-war labor missions during the 1970s) are documented in text archives (e.g. Tamiment Library / Robert F. Wagner Labor Archives). However, high-resolution digitized photographs with verified public-domain or open-reusable licenses specifically identifying CPUSA delegations in Havana or Hanoi were not found in federal public domain repositories.
* **Strict Accuracy Policy**: In accordance with project requirements to never mislabel foreign photographs, we feature verified CPUSA international solidarity rallies (such as the 1972 Madison Square Garden rally) and Paul Robeson's anti-fascist labor organizing, rather than unverified third-party images.
